News: Scotland govt invests nearly $556K into cricket…

The Scotland government is investing 317,000 pounds into cricket for the development of youth, and to assist in the raising of the standard of the national team before the World Cup. This is good news for Scotland, the amount being more than the $500,000 that they received last year from ICC for getting the ODI status. In addition to that, Scotland is likely to go into profit from their home games this year, with Pakistan touring them for a game, and also, European championships taking place over there. All bodes well for Scotland, money wise.
