Opinion: Highest Junior Hard ball Cricketers….

I have mentioned before what the numbers are for junior cricket involvment. Here are the junior playing numbers. These players are the real deal at the U19 age level, playing 50 over matches, properly umpired, based on ODI rules, with the hard ball, in some cases on a proper pitch, otherwise on matting.

- Vanuatu (1660)
- Kenya (1410)

- Netherlands (1305)
You will notice how the performances of the U19 team have more or less reflected the numbers on this list, and in many cases, also that of the senior team. At least for the top 5, one would expect that they are going to end up being a reasonably competitive team for the test sides at the senior level in about 5 years time. Tiny Vanuatu has taken the 9th place again in this list.
