News: Greece goof up clarified….

“This is Guernsey” publication clarifies what Greece ended up doing in this article. It seems, that the 2 players Tussio and Mazaraios, are both Greek citizens…… like John Davison and Geoff Barnet are Canadians……. or David Hemp a Bermudan…… but they needed to spend 100 days, or perhaps 45, working in some capacity with the Hellas Cricket Federation before they were eligiable to play as imports ……. David Hemp did that beginning of this year so that he could play for Bermuda in the World Cup….. I believe he was advising the BCB on cricket structure, it wasnt even a playing role………
For the Greeks to miss out on Euro Div I like this is indeed lousy management…….

This is a real shame for the Greeks, who were looking promising. Now they’ll be relegated to Division 3.
how stupid can one get
I’m not so sure if it was stupidity as much as it could have been laziness and/or complacency.
Those who selected the team should have done their homework on the players they were choosing before sending squad to the tournament.
I can assure you that it was not stupidity, laziness nor complacency on the part of the Greek management. They knew exactly what they were doing!
