News: Canada to play Scotland/Kenya in triangular in January…
Posted on October 1, 2006 by Nasir M. Khan
Well, it was supposed to be a Scotland/Kenya 5 match ODI series, then there was rumour that Zim may be joining in as a thrid country to make it a triangular. But it looks now that it is in fact going to be Canada joining them, which means that on the whole Canada will be playing a lot of games actually….. they have already played 5, will play anotherĀ 18-20 ODIsĀ in the coming 6 months. Thats a lot of cricket given that Ireland will not even be able to cross 10 ODIs by the time they get to the World Cup. Actually, Netherlands may not either.
I would have prefered to watch Zim take on these 2 countries instead of Canada, but this is not that bad either.

By the way, Nasir, you might want to check out our fixture list at Beyond the Boundary (http://caughtbehind.com/btb/calendar/), which is currently the most up to date non-test calendar on the entire internet.
This is a good opprotunity to see how these three teams rank up against each other and of course there’s always that vital pre World Cup experience..should be interesting..
