While I would not really have been surprised with this result before this tour, I am a little surprised after Bermuda’s performance in the intercontinental cup. Nothing came good in this match for them, neither their batting nor bowling.
Netherlands perhaps need to rest ten Doeschate in the next game and see whether they are still [...]

But Canada would perhaps come out to be the happier of the sides at the end of the day….. it was a stiff target of 271 runs, and Canada were without the services of their leading 3 batsmen, the imports Davison, Barnett and Bilcliff. Still, for them to get to within 17 runs of the [...]

Well well….. what a shocker!
David Hemp is 246*, and Bermuda is 619/9!!!!
I think if there was ever a wakeup call for Netherlands about their bowling, it cannot top this……. Stelling is useless, and the 2 spinners, perhaps are too inexperienced, or maybe they just arent good enough, I have never seen the spinners, so I [...]

A 3-0 drubbing.
Many newbie enthusiasts have been blindly looking at Bermuda’s performance in the Americas championships and considering them to be perhaps at par with Kenya. Well, for once I think that that argument should at least ve put to rest. One thing that does need to be kept in mind is that Bermuda is [...]

To my knowledge, the ACC and ICC are bloody bloody rich, and spend less than 30% of their revenue on development. The ACC have been doing a fantastic job by bringing in new members into the region, while helping existing members develop with their huge array of development initiative, study visits, umpiriing programs, administrative courses, [...]

Australian Grade Cricket, to my knowledge and experience is one of the most challenging difficult cricketing circuits in the world. Though Grade Cricket is a concept of Amateur Cricket, the cricketing culture, competitive attitude, and passion for sport in Australia still makes it a top level cricket circuit for players, which is why more players [...]

Rashid Khan’s appointment as coach for the China U-15 team to play in Bangkok in December has been to focus of all attention in the run up to the tournament so far, however two of the other participating teams, namely, hosts Thailand, and Bhutan have also been preparing hard for the tournament where the top [...]

Well well……. looks like people are getting serious……. China U15 to tour Pak, Pak School team to visit China…. Pakistan appointing a coach for the U15 team……..
Perhaps it would be best to start off with the China U10 team…… those guys CAN theoratically be trained to become world class players…… I think it may be [...]

To continue the recent craze with rankings on the net, here are my current rankings of the national teams of the 17 Asian non-test playing countries.
A.) These rankings are based purely on One-Day performances of the Senior teams in the last 2 years, and doesn’t necessarily say anything about the countries’ cricketing program, depth in players, and facilities.
1. [...]

This is my ‘educated’ opinion. It is not necessarily based on the last few games or results.
Ireland
Scotland
Netherlands
Canada
Kenya
Bermuda
UAE
Namibia
Denmark
Uganda
Due to the lack of games between Bermuda and UAE/Namibia, I am unable to compare them too much. Also, I would think that Kenya is stronger than Bermuda, but we can find out fairly quickly when Bermuda tours them [...]
