Canada lost it from a winning position really…….. Bilcliff and Barnett took them to nearly 200 for the loss of 1 wicket (effectively 2), but the new batsmen could not cope with the run rate……….. eventually they lost by 13 runs chasing 278. That is quite good, given that Canada is not the top associate. [...]

I have mentioned this before. I think what is needed is to have a yearly 10 day tournament, on the same footing as the world cricket league, having the bottom 3 test teams taking on the top 3 associates. In the current set up, it would be a tournament featuring WI, Ban, Zim, Ken, Sco [...]

By an innings and 170 runs……. Boyd Rankin, who as far as I know did not play in the WCL got 5 wickets in the match, and that is probably the edge that Ireland missed in the WCL. I think that Ireland have a strong enough batting lineup that they dont really need their batsmen [...]

The U-19 teams of England, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia have been contesting an U-19 Tri Series Competition for the past couple of weeks in KL, as you all might know.
Both England and Sri Lanka look quite evenly matched having played 3 or 4 very close games between. The expected letdown ofcourse has come from Malaysia. [...]

And so much for Canada. They tried to beat the Kenyans quickly, and ended up losing by 150+ runs.
The Dutch did well to beat the Irish and take the 3rd spot.
