News: Kenya get $445K sponsorship

EABL has committed to support Cricket Kenya with $445K (Sh 28 mil) over the next 4 years. This is about $110K per year. Not bad at all.

Now perhaps Kenya can play some cricket ! Maybe more than 1 game every 2 months!

Kenya already has Ihsan as their sponsor, and also the agreement with Nimbus Productions.

    Nice things are beginning to fall into place very well at the very top hopefully this keeps up and tha the money gets to trickle down effectively to all the growth areas in the sports.

    hopefully this can really benefit for Kenyan cricket and we see them compete to a good standard in the next world cup
    ps: Realy think they can earn test status with this grant but am afraid that if Tikolo retires kenya will take a step backwards in cricket
