News: Whats up with Synman?

80% of Namibia’s total!!

This is the 3rd game in the last one month when Namibia folded meekly in their first innings, then fouhgt back with the ball, and the second innings total was commendable. However, this time around it was a one man show, as after Snyman, who is 194*, the next highest score in Namibia’s second innings is 13.

  1. And Namibia has just beaten Kenya…… by 101 runs….. Snyman 230 out of 283 second innings total…….

  2. He is the Andrew Flintoff of associate cricket, bowling at 85mph and scoring at a blistering rate. You also have to commend the bowling performance of the whole team especially Kolo Burger

  3. From recent trends, I think it’s now getting clear that Namibia is a four or five-man team, the rest are pretty ordinary…By the looks of it, Snyman appears to be a real talent, maybe good enough to get into the Ban or Zim lineups?! I guess county callups may not be too far off for him if he can put in strong performances against Ireland and Scotland…I

t’s good that Namibia have started producing some serious talent and if they can unearth three or four simiarly talented players, they may actually be able to give Ban and Zim a good run…

  4. Kenya’s batting frailties do not seem to be going away, but it’s hard to see it getting better until there is more competition in the sqaud. Maybe the domestic competition will unearth 2-3 players to put pressure on the D Obuyas and Sujis, to get them fighting for their places in future.

  5. That Tony Suji is among the top 10 batsmen in Kenya right now is one of those jaw dropping fallacies, they really need to give some of the other younger batsmen out there a go like Peter Kituku or Malhar Patel a go.
