News: Scotland beat Northamptonshire….

Usually, if an associate's national team starts beating too many of the domestic team from a test side, it means that it is time for the assocaite team to graduate into full cricketing status. Scotland have done it twice this year, by beating Northamptonshire, and there was another county that they beat in the beginning of the season. Still having 4 games to go, they may be able to pull of another victory, and hence at least quieten the critics for a while.

This victory however, was set up by their Australian overseas players; Moran took 5-28, and Richards made 73. Both are australian sheffied shield players. But no harm, because even the county side had Lance Klusenar, who was an SA national, and a single handed world beater in 1999.

This has gone to show that getting Scotland to play in English domestic really helped them out. They lost all matches in 2003, they won a match in 2004, and now, they have won 2 out of 4. So they are definitely improving.
